Now reported in the English national press. Read it here and pass it on. This is a major news story.

MMR: A mother’s victory. The vast majority of doctors say there is no link between the triple jab and autism, but could an Italian court case reignite this controversial debate?

  • Landmark ruling in an Italian court has said Valentino Bocca’s autism was provoked by the MMR jab he had at aged nine months
  • His parents have already been awarded £140,000 and could be paid an additional £800,000 in their case against the Italian government
  • The case could set a precedent for many similar civil proceedings

At nine months old, Valentino Bocca was as bright as a button. In a favourite family photo, taken by his father, the baby boy wriggles in his mother’s arms and laughs for the camera.

  1. Reblogged this on No Compulsory Vaccination and commented:
Doctors continually say that vaccines cannot cause autism and yet, time and time again, the courts say they can and award compensation. It’s time to stop the denial and start the REAL investigation. Let’s see the data comparing the fully vaccinated with the never vaccination on issues such as autism, ADD, ADHD, Asthma, diabetes and more. The medical community needs to accept that without this sort of study, all they are doing is denying the experience of hundreds of thousands of parents and they can only keep that up for so long…time’s up!

  2. Great article! How much longer with the mainstream medical community be able to deny the bleeding obvious. Vaccines DO cause autism – they have for over 100 years (since before there was a name for this condition) and the more vaccines are children receive – the more chances they will develop this condition (and other autoimmune disorders as well such as insulin dependent diabetes and asthma).

We need the research to finally be done – a comparison of the overall health of the fully vaccinated with the never vaccinated. The government and the medical community don’t want to do this study because they know perfectly well what it will show – that the unvaccinated are healthier, smarter and better behaved than the vaccinated. And what a can of worms that will open! What a lot of compensation will need to be paid out!

So they keep on denying and the parents who are asleep and trusting will keep vaccinating and the kids will keep on being damaged or – even worse – dying, until it finally reaches the point where this damage can no longer be denied. We’re close to that point now – here’s hoping we will get there before there are hardly any healthy children left.

  3. So let’s assume that one in a million children having the MMR vaccine will become autistic. Is this a bad thing? Is this an acceptable risk?

What if we don’t immunise? Is it better to have lots of kids getting measles, and 1 in 3000 of them dying? Do we decide that kids should be banned from car travel since there is maybe a one in a million chance of them dying in a car crash every year?

People are notoriously bad at understanding risk. We worry about flying in aeroplanes because we don’t do it very often. We don’t worry about things we do regularly – like crossing the road, climbing up a hill, travelling on a train – yet they all carry risk.

It is very important not to scare parents who don’t understand risk away from MMR vaccinations, thus causing their children greater chance of harm by making them vulnerable to measles, mumps & rubella instead.

It is also important that researchers can investigate any potential link between the MMR vaccine and any side effects it might have in order to be able to improve it – without the press jumping on the research and writing stories that scare parents unnecessarily.

[ED: Yes people are notoriously bad at understanding risk. But in your case you do not even have the figures correct. Which is better?

    a) 1 in 64 British children having an autistic condition, 1 in 40 being a boy or

    b) 86,700 measles cases 1992 – 2008 and one 13 year old on immunosuppressant drugs died from measles and one immunocompromised child died but it is not determined the death was measles related?

Which one would you go for? No need to reply. Our readers can do without more misinformation.]

  4. MMR was designated as working best for babies at around 18 months. This was brought down to 12 months. There are stories of MMR given at 6 months. To give MMR at 9 months is one step far too young.
What about the 39 out of 40 who dont get autism but may be damaged in some way not recognised by mainstream medical authority.
There is also the unresolved problem of rubella live vaccine and its possible transfer to a pregnant mother either the same mother or another mother. Rubella virus is a known cause of autism and possible non infectious conditions in a mother exposed may damage the child in the womb. When we know causes of autism and then DELIBERATELY expose this virus albeit attenuated near mothers of child bearing age it defies every concept of COMMON SENSE.

  5. Interesting that here on child health people opt for no vaccines at an early age as best for child health but in the main article where most readers are UNAWARE of the DETAIL of the vaccine debate they follow BLINDLY the line of government, regulators and industry.

Totally unrelated but interesting is the revelation that in 1994 the reaction by the above to SUDDEN DEATH from GMO maize/corn was to abandon the experiment and not report the health risk from GMO food until this month 2012 June an ex-worker BLEW THE WHISTLE.

For every doezen vaccines a child receives the parents on average get NONE. Is this CONFIDENCE in vaccines?

  6. Ah, to Sanity Required, you need to get your facts straight. Autism in not one in a million (wonder how you would feel if that one were your child?), it is an epidemic rate of one in 88 vaccinated kids in the US.
