Godlee alleged fraud and indicated that in her view such data manipulation was sufficent to bring a criminal prosecution against the perpetrator. CHS appears to accept that there appears to be a case to answer that Deer may have perverted the course of justice – as Wakefield alleges – and that Godlee is guilty of being implicated whether wittingly or not in what appears could be fraud.
